Volunteer Opportunities
Finance and Audit Committee Members
Individuals are needed to participate on our Finance and Audit Committee, a standing committee of the Board of Directors. Responsibilities of the committee include: overseeing the efficient and accountable management of donations, grants and funds received by the CVC Foundation; overseeing the development of the annual fundraising budget; ensuring adequate financial controls and making recommendations on financial report formats when needed and; ensuring all CVCF board members have full access to and an understanding of the funds they have been entrusted with.
Fundraising Cabinet Committee Members
Individuals are needed to participate on our Fundraising Cabinet, a standing committee of the Board of Directors. Responsibilities of the committee include: the development of our Endowment Fund; identifying potential individual and corporate donors and; assisting with fund solicitation efforts.
Grant Researchers and Writers
Individuals are needed to research and identify viable grant opportunities for the organization as well as prepare and submit grant applications, letters of inquiry and formal proposals according to the grant guidelines
Local Fundraising Groups
Individuals are always welcome to join or support one of our local fundraising committees – The Friends of Island Lake, the Friends of Terra Cotta or the Rattray Marsh Protection Association.

Special Events
Individuals are needed to assist with planning and implementing our various fundraising events such as our Conservation Gala, Canoe the Credit, Fishing Tournaments, Haunted Forest etc.

Post secondary students studying non-profit management, fundraising, special events management or similar courses are always welcome.
