Recognizing your gift to the Foundation is very important to us.
The Foundation has a comprehensive Donor Recognition Policy to ensure we recognize our donors in a consistent manner.
Highlights of our Donor Recognition Program:
- All donations over $10 are eligible for a charitable tax receipt and will receive an accompanying thank you letter or card acknowledging your gift
- Personal Acknowledgement from the Donor Recognition Committee ($1,000 +)
- Recognition of donation in annual report and copy of report (1,000+)
- Receipt of CVCF quarterly newsletter (1,000+)
- Recognition on CVCF website(s) (1,000+)
- Receipt of Donor Appreciation Certificate (1,000+)
- Feature story in CVCF quarterly newsletters ($5,000 +)
- Placement on permanent donor recognition wall ($5,000 +)
- Invitation to attend Annual Donor Appreciation Event ($5,000 +)
- Where appropriate, naming of endowment ($5,000 +)
- Customized recognition plan that best meets donor’s needs ($25,000+)
- Cheque presentation and news release to media ($100,000+)
- Special event for donation announcement ($500,000+)
- Private reception with the CVCF Chair ($1,000,000 +)
